GarLine Laser Sensors from Garmo Instruments Can be Integrated with Welding Cobots

Garmo Instruments’ GarLine seam tracking laser sensor, now certified by Universal Robots, can be integrated on welding cobots to provide vision programming, seam finding, and seam tracking during automated welding.

Its multifunctional URCap allows the operator to control sensor parameters for simplified installation and integration. The sensor-cobot combination is suitable for low-volume/high-mix applications, helping to increase quality while reducing waste and production costs, the company reports.
