Fluor Awarded Contract by OG&E

Fluor Corporation has announced that it has been awarded a five-year maintenance and construction services contract by Oklahoma Gas and Electric for all seven of its power generation plant sites in Oklahoma.

Fluor will supply supervision and craft personnel to support ongoing base crew maintenance as well as major outage and project work, construction services and plant modifications.

“Fluor is one of the largest providers of maintenance and outage support services to the power generation industry in the United States,” said president of Fluor’s Power Group, Dave Dunning. “This new contract exemplifies our breadth and depth of maintenance and construction resources and provides us with the opportunity to deliver added value to this key client through a multi-site, multi-year program.”

Fluor’s equipment, tool and fleet management unit, AMECO, will provide complete craft support services at all OG&E project site locations associated with this contract.
