Flexible Welding Enclosures from HFT

Huntingdon Fusion Techniques (HFT), whose US headquarters are located in Florida, are broadening their range of standard circular enclosures for welding titanium and any other reactive metal for additive manufacturing, to include purpose designed and manufactured models to encompass volumes of 30 m3 and greater to meet the needs of research and production entities internationally.

These purpose designed enclosures have leak-tight zips placed anywhere that they may be required for access and entry points. Argon entry points are placed at floor level with matching volume exhaust points at the top. Additional valved ports are available for adding Weld Purge Monitors® to inform the users when welding is safe to start, so to avoid risk of oxidation of the deposited material.
