ESA Renewables to construct solar farm

ESA Renewables (ESA) has unveiled plans to construct a 20MW solar photovoltaic generation facility in Pennsylvania. The ground-mounted photovoltaic generating facility will be in operation for a period of 20 years. The planned site is a grid-connected solar photovoltaic generation facility divided into 20 units, each of them with a 1MVA step-up transformer. ESA will be responsible for the construction, commissioning, monitoring and maintenance of the solar array during the lifespan of the system. The facility is expected to be connected to the grid by August 2012.
