Engine-Driven Welding Machines Deliver Numerous Capabilities

Miller Electric Mfg. LLC has released the Bobcat 265 and Bobcat 230 engine-driven welding machines. Available in multiple configurations to provide welding and auxiliary power for a variety of applications, the machines are more than 100 lbs. lighter and 13% smaller than previous models.

The multiprocess 265 model includes Auto-Set technology to simplify weld parameter setup; a direct spool gun connection; available battery charge/crank assist; and ArcReach technology that allows operators to change parameters at the weld joint without walking back to the machine. The 230 model offers a one-knob user interface and a digital fuel gauge. The units’ welder and generator power systems are independent, so there is no interaction between the weld arc and jobsite tools.
