Enbridge to add gas plant to Anadarko System

Enbridge Energy Partners, L.P. (EEP) announced that it will construct a 150 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) cryogenic natural gas processing plant on its Anadarko gas gathering system near Wheeler, Texas. The USD 230 million Ajax plant, strategically placed to cater to the rapidly growing Granite Wash play, will add much-needed natural gas processing capacity to EEP’s Anadarko System. The plant is expected to be in service by early 2013. This new plant will bring the total Anadarko System processing capacity to 1.2 billion cubic feet per day. The Enbridge Partners Anadarko System is made up of approximately 2800mi of natural gas gathering and transportation pipelines in southwest Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle, one natural gas treating plant, and 12 natural gas processing plants.
