Electralloy’s manager of forged products retiring

The leading custom producer of specialty and stainless steels, Electralloy, has announced that the Manager of Forged Products-Billets and Bars, Ms. Kathy Shumsky, is retiring.

Ms. Shumsky worked with the company for 18 years in addition to being an active member of the forging community. She was the Chairperson of the Forging Industry Association Marketing Committee for two straight terms.

Ms. Deborah Craig, formerly an Inside Sales Supervisor, will be stepping in to take over Ms. Shumsky’s role. She will work with Electralloy’s inside sales team to service the company’s billet customers.

Regarding the retirement, Electralloy’s President Tracy Rudolph, has stated, “Electralloy has been very fortunate to have someone of Kathy’s caliber for so many years. She is well respected by her customers and co-workers because of her unique blend of experience, personality and work ethic. Her enthusiasm and attention to customer service details will be missed. We all wish her all the best.”
