Tenaris in Colombia has received the Iconic Vendor award from Ecopetrol in the Volunteering and Inclusive Social Investment category for its educational initiatives for the community: the Roberto Rocca Technical Gene and Roberto Rocca After School programs.
The award celebrates Ecopetrol’s suppliers that promote sustainable development and support the local communities where they operate, driving economic and social growth. Tenaris offers educational support in the Nelson Mandela community, neighboring TuboCaribe, Tenaris’s pipe mill in Cartagena, Colombia, impacting 720 children.
