Duplex joining electrode

Arcos Industries LLC, located in Mt. Carmel, Pennsylvania, now offers new bare wire and covered stainless steel electrodes, Arcos 2209, which are designed for joining 22% chromium duplex stainless steels including 2205. Both Arcos 2209 bare wire (ER2209) and covered (E2209) electrodes provide resistance to intergranular corrosion and pitting. They also deliver resistance to stress corrosion cracking, especially in environments containing hydrogen sulfide and chlorides. Arcos 2209 bare wire electrodes are available in diameters from .035in- 3/16in. The covered versions are offered in 3/32in-3/16in diameters.
