Drilling commences on Decar nickel-iron alloy prop

First Point Minerals Corp. has announced that the first diamond drilling program at its Decar Nickel-Iron Alloy property in British Columbia, Canada has commenced. Six to eight holes and a minimum of 2000m are to be drilled within the project’s Baptiste and Sydney target areas in this initial drilling campaign. The diamond drill was mobilized earlier in the month and commenced drilling on 19 July 2010. The target depth for each hole is approximately 300m. Core samples from the drilling program will be sent to various accredited laboratories for physical and chemical analysis in support of defining the nature and extent of the nickel-iron alloy mineralization at the Decar property. Core samples will also be sent to Cliffs Natural Resources Exploration Inc. for detailed metallurgical test work.
