CRUPE opens light steel production centre

CRUPE Do Brazil opened a new production and training centre in Vitoria, Espirito Santo, close to the city’s main airport.

The new centre will be called The CRUPE Chris Savill Vitoria Light Steel Production and Training Centre and is slated to be the largest light steel production centre in Brazil. Initially Series 4 CRUPE Framing machines will be used to produce light steel frames ranging from 75mm to 150mm. Starting 2014, the Centre will begin operating the latest Series 3 CRUPE Framing machines, which will include both the C and U section profile machines running profiles between 50mm up to 200mm.

The Chris Savill Light Steel Centre will also be the largest training centre in Brazil for light steel in construction in Brazil and will support CRUPE’s other operations.
