With an extensive portfolio of corrosion management products, Crane ChemPharma & Energy, a business of Crane Co., will attend the 17th Middle East Corrosion Conference & Exhibition.
This will be our third time exhibiting at the MECC & Exhibition and over the years, weve discovered the value of having a presence here, said Ismael Jammaini from Crane ChemPharma & Energy.
The bi-annual event hoseted by NACE Dharan Saudi Arabia Section and the Bahrain Society of Engineers, will give Crane the chance to highlight its lined valve and pipe innovations, as well as its latest products; the XOMOX® XP3 Sleeved Plug Valve, and the Crane®FKX 9000 Triple Offset Valve.
The XOMOX® XP3 Sleeved Plug Valve has been designed to comply with API641, and is the first sleeved plug valve capable of passing five thermal cycles without any packing adjustments, in accordance with ISO 15848-1 BH CO3 SSO. It also features a live loaded design that optimizes seal performance, ensuring the seal integrity to atmosphere. The valve requires no costly lubrication and prevents accumulation or contamination of process media, reducing maintenance costs and the cost of ownership over time.
The thick metal-to-metal Crane®FKX 9000 Triple Offset Valve offers a robust, long lasting seal with an innovative, wide-seat angle design, relying on a self-releasing taper principle, minimizing binding or galling of the seal-ring. The super-fine surface finish, together with the right-angle conical design, facilitates an almost frictionless sealing. These features allow for a bi-directional, zero-leakage closure performance at unmatched cycle times, and work together to reduce potential downtime and the total cost of ownership, all while maximizing the safety of the valve operator.
Crane places a priority on innovation and our vast portfolio of products offers unique solutions for highly abrasive applications, Jammaini continued. We want to continue to spread awareness of those benefits here in the Middle East, and this conference and exhibition offers that opportunity.
