Construction of stainless steel pipe mill

German-based steel pipe maker Schulz GmbH has started to build the new stainless steel pipe mill with an investment of USD 300 million in Tunica County, Tennessee. The new plant will mainly produce seamless steel pipes, stainless steel and other substitutes for corrosion resistance. The steel pipes will supply to large-scale Marcellus Shale projects including Marcellus Shale in NW America. The plant is expected to start production in 2011.
