Companies fined for oil spill

Three companies will pay USD 312,500 to the Natural Resources Damages Trust as a result of a 68,000ltr oil spill in Massachusetts, USA in 2006. Irving Oil Corp., Irving Oil Terminals and Global Petroleum Inc. allegedly spilled fuel oil into the Chelsea River and Mill Creek in Revere on 9 March 2006.
