Diablo Tools has introduced a line of cermet (ceramic and metallic blend) saw blades for cutting metals and stainless steel with cordless and corded saws.
The Steel Demon blade features a proprietary design that delivers up to 25 times longer life, 50 times cooler cuts, and 10 times faster cuts compared to standard abrasive cutoff discs, according to the company.
The formulation of the cermet-tipped teeth allows users to make burr-free cuts with minimum sparks in metals and stainless. The Triple Chip Grind tooth geometry produces large chips, reducing airborne contaminants. When combined with the blade’s stabilizer vents, this tooth geometry helps create a controlled cutting action. The teeth produce clean, cool-to-the-touch cuts.
The blades are available for thin, medium, and thick metals and stainless steels, offered in diameters from 5-3/8 to 14 in.
