Steel roof earns middle school LEED Platinum

The Willow School located in Gladstone, N.J., has reached its LEED Platinum goal with the help of a Follansbee TCS II roof. The new 13,000sq/ft building is part of the school’s second phase, and houses a middle school, a dining facility, a science center, and a performing arts center.

Gamesa to supply turbines to Western Wind

Gamesa will supply wind turbines, with a total capacity of 10MW, for a wind farm being built by Western Wind Energy in Arizona. As per the contract, Gamesa will install five G90-2.0MW wind turbines on 78m towers in April 2011.

ArcelorMittal to restart Georgetown steel mill

ArcelorMittal will restart their Georgetown steel mill with stable production mode expected by 24 Jan 2010. Initial production at the Georgetown Mill is expected to reach 264,000 tons of wire rod per year, based on current market conditions.
