Siemens to supply auto-tech to sugar refinery
Siemens has received a contract to equip a sugar refinery, operating in North America, with electrical and control technology. Currently under construction in Gramercy, Louisiana, the plant will be owned and operated by Louisiana Sugar Refining (LSR), a joint venture between Sugar Growers and Refiners Electralloy to increase prices
Electralloy will increase their prices on stainless grades and specialty and nickel alloy mill products. Mill products include the forms of all remelted products, in addition to billet, master alloy, and specialty nickel bar. The cost of selected air melted and all remelted stainless grades
