ThyssenKrupp USA CEO Mr Soulliere to retire

ThyssenKrupp USA has reported that Mr Bob Soulliere, president and CEO of ThyssenKrupp Steel USA and one of the people who announced the company would build in Alabama, announced on 7 August 2009 that he will retire on 30 September 2009. Mr Christoph Lackinger will replace Mr Soulliere.

TVA nuclear plans

The Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA), which had earlier said it was considering the construction of up to four reactors at its Bellefonte site in Alabama, US, is now looking into building just one unit at the site.
