Mascoma signs deal for cellulosic ethanol facility
Mascoma Corporation, a renewable fuels company, has signed a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy to assist in the design, construction and operation of a commercial-scale hardwood cellulosic ethanol facility in Kinross, Michigan. Mandan Tesoro Refinery to boost diesel production
The Mandan Tesoro Refinery intends to increase diesel production in order to support the growing regional demand for diesel fuel. The company will expand its Distillate Desulferization Unit by 5000 barrels of diesel per day, increasing the total number of barrels per day to 22,000.
