Bombardier appoints new aerostructures unit

The Canadian multinational aerospace and transportation company, Bombardier, has selected a company veteran, Mr. Jean Seguin, to lead its new aerostructures and engineering services unit.

Seguin first worked for Canadair in 1981 as a composites material engineer, but has been with Bombardier since 1986 when it acquired Canadair. With Bombardier Aerospace, he has held the positions of vice-president of operations and vice-present of engineering and supply chain.

The aerostructures division was created last month as part of a major overhaul that divided the aerospace business into four units that will each report directly to Mr. Beaudoin.
