Black & Veatch wins contract for US wind project

Black & Veatch has been selected by Black Hills Energy to provide detailed design engineering services for the Busch Ranch wind project in the US state of Colorado. The development will use 16 wind turbines to produce 29MW of renewable energy. Black & Veatch is also providing the detailed design for all project components, such as turbine placement and foundation support, collection, as well as interconnection. The project is scheduled to be complete in December this year and will produce enough electricity to supply some 15,000 households.
