BK Edwards expanding MS plant

BK Edwards Fabrication and Welding is expanding the operations at its facility in Maben, Mississippi. The project represents a $70,000 company investment and will create 18 new jobs, bringing employment at the facility to approximately 50.
Family-owned and operated, BK Edwards Fabrication and Welding has been in business in Maben since 1999. The company fabricates and welds a variety of stainless steel products, including pipes and platforms.
“BK Edwards is looking forward to the road improvements for our customers and vendors that visit daily,” said BK Edwards President/CEO Bruce Edwards. “We would like to thank the Mississippi Development Authority and the Webster County Supervisors for working with us to help improve economic growth in Webster County.”
The Mississippi Development Authority provided assistance in support of the project to pave the access road leading to the company’s facility. Webster County is providing in-kind assistance for the project.
