BioFab Technologies is approved for new facility

BioFab Technologies Inc.’s plans for a metal fabrication facility specializing in custom stainless steel equipment, has received site and operational approval from the Plan Commission.

With the intent to serve the food, beverage, and pharmaceutical industries, among others, BioFab Technologies Inc. is expected to construct a 50,743-square-foot office and custom stainless steel fabrication facility, on 5.6 acres in the 111000 block of 88th Avenue, in LakeView Corporate Park.

Currently located in Kenosha at 7640 60th Avenue in the Business Park of Kenosha, BioFab Technologies is planning to relocate to the Pleasant Prairie site, according to Jean Werbie-Harris, Community Development Director for the village. Construction on the new facility is expected to begin in June month, and developers expect the facility to be completed and fully operational in February.
