Badger Alloys adds metallurgist

Badger Alloys, Inc., a full-service castings manufacturer based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, has announced that Mr. Michael Beining has joined the company as metallurgist. In this role, Beining will work to analyze and enhance melt, molding, and laboratory operating procedures to produce castings that meet and exceed customer and process specifications.

Beining joined Badger Alloys full time after serving as the company’s metallurgy intern. He holds a bachelor’s degree in applied physics from Carroll University in Waukesha, and a master’s degree in materials science engineering from UW-Milwaukee.

Founded in 1966, the company offers single-source capabilities for custom castings.  The company pours more than 200 different alloys and includes a sand foundry, pattern shop and machine shop to offer customers fully integrated services.
