The new range of AVK Stainless Steel Repair Clamps is meant for quick repairs on steel, copper, asbestos cement, Cast Iron and plastic pipes. The repair clamps are passivated in order to ensure an optimum corrosion resistance and are provided with a waffle structured rubber gasket and rounded tops to create a fully circumferential seal.
Some of the advantages of the new range clamps include the fact that they are made from Grade 316 Stainless Steel, therefore they suffer from no corrosion, the clamp is completely passivated after welding operations, they are lightweight and easy to handle, have no sharp edges or angles and have no problem with non-round pipes. The clamp assumes the form of the pipe and teflon coating on threads prevents nuts and bolts galling. The clamps are available in a large range of sizes from DN40 up to DN350.
