ATI delays stainless price increase

Allegheny Technologies (ATI) is once again delaying a price increase for its stainless steel products.

Company officials had previously stated that ATI would be increasing the prices for all of its stainless cold-rolled, tubular quality sheet and strip and precision-rolled products for its 200-series, 300-series and type 430 grades on September 15th, 2014.

Just last week, ATI announced that these aforementioned price increases wouldn’t take effect until September 29th, after North American Stainless announced its own price, which will begin on October 1, 2014.
