AT&F expands service

AT&F is headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio and specializes in large scale welding and fabrication. The company has recently expanded its global services with Port of Cleveland’s Europe Express service to Antwerp. This is a direct all-water service between Cleveland and Antwerp that will service lines for AT&F’s European customers four days earlier than from East Coast ports. The Cleveland-Europe Express is the first, and so far only, regularly scheduled international container and break bulk service (80 Ton) on the great lakes per the Port of Cleveland.

Michael Forde Ripich, AT&F’s president, has commented, “This regular service coincides with AT&F’s export strategy to deliver around the world the large scale products and components for heavy industrial markets that have been the cornerstone of our business in the U.S. for decades. Access to direct ocean shipping allows us to deliver easily what once took special trucking and rail to deliver to East and West Coast ports prior to loading for overseas deliveries.”
