Associated Steel offers lean duplex shafting

Associated Steel has added LDX 2101® lean duplex shafting from Outokumpu to their product line of alloy and stainless steel shafting. This lean duplex grade offers better corrosion resistance and greater mechanical strength than the traditional austenitic stainless grades, including 304L and 316L. Elevated properties can be achieved without relying on costly alloying elements such as nickel. The shafting comes in two surface finishes and tolerances, long bar lengths, guaranteed bearing fit, and fine turned “oversize” under the trade name ASC2250™ LDX. Associated Steel is a privately owned steel service center in Ohio, specializing in alloy and stainless materials for the heavy industrial maintenance market
