Argex announces site of first plant

Argex Titanium Inc. has announced that its first commercial plant would be constructed within an existing building on a brownfield site in Valleyfield, Quebec.
The site is located about 25 miles southwest of Montreal. This puts a sizeable, skilled workforce in close proximity, and also keeps the first plant close to home for Argex management.
The facility will lie in an industrial park that had previously been a centre for chemical operations. The site chosen by Argex was previously operated by Dominion Textiles, so is properly constructed and laid out for significant chemical operations and for easy shipping of large quantities of material, both as outgoing finished products and incoming feedstocks. Argex management has chosen an older building that was well constructed.
