ArcelorMittal Brazil to launch steel pipe plant in 2020

ArcelorMittal Projects Brazil, a steelmaking business group of ArcelorMittal, plans to launch a new facility in the city of Serra, Espirito Santo state, Brazil, by the end of the first half of 2020, according to reports. The ArcelorMittal Projects business produces steel pipes for different industry segments. The company will reportedly invest approximately USD $1.7 million (BRL 10 million) to launch the 50,000 mt/year tube facility, which will produce welded steel tubes of different ranges. ArcelorMittal Projects Brazil plant will be located near ArcelorMittal Brazil’s Tubarão facility, also in Espirito Santo state.
