An advanced weld purging experience

Huntingdon Fusion Techniques’ (HFT®) newest PurgEye® 200 Weld Purging Monitor® has been designed to reach oxygen levels as low as 50 parts per million (ppm), which is required when welding reactive metals such as stainless steel, zirconium, nickel alloys, and titanium.

“The PurgEye® 200 portable 10 ppm monitor will ensure zero-colour, non-oxidized welds are achieved every time, with accurate readings down to 10 ppm,” said Georgia Gascoyne, CEO of Weld Purging Experts HFT®.

Another first from HFT® is the PurgeNetTM, which allows the PurgEye® 200 and other Weld Purge Monitors® in the range to be connected to accessories including an automatic welding machine interface. This enables the oxygen level in the vicinity to be monitored, and for the welding machine to be switched on or off according to pre-set oxygen levels.

The PurgEye® 200 features an OLED display for bright, clear, and sharp readings, and is IP65-rated, meaning it can be used in demanding areas where instruments are used on site, such as in desert or tropical conditions.
