Amarinth introduces stainless steel CRUs

Amarinth, the company that specializes in the design, application and manufacture of centrifugal pumps and other related equipment for the oil and gas industry, has launched its new line of condensate recovery units (CRU).

The new units are smaller, lighter and more efficient models that are intended for light industrial use such as in hospitals, office buildings, etc. They can also act as a compliment to the already existing line of heavy-duty intelligent CRUs. The units are help to reduce energy costs as it collects hot condensate from the steam system and returns it back to the boiler plant to be used as boiler feed.

The CRUs are made of stainless steel instead of the usual galvanized steel but they cost the same as the existing products. High efficiency, multi-stage motors along with improvements in the motor design and control systems allow the CRUs to cycle on/off by an increased factor of four. Units are now available in simplex or duplex stainless steel, depending on final application.
