Alfa Laval wins natural gas order in the U.S.

Alfa Laval has won an order to supply compact heat exchangers to a liquefied natural gas plant (LNG), for processing of shale gas in the U.S.
Alfa Laval is a world leader in heat transfer, centrifugal separation and fluid handling.
The order, booked in the Energy & Environment segment, is worth approximately SEK 50 million and delivery is scheduled for 2014.
The Alfa Laval compact heat exchangers will be used in a new gas processing facility where they will recover and reuse heat in the gas cleaning process resulting in an energy-efficient process.
“This is the second large order this year for this specific gas processing facility. The order confirms that we meet the high demands for reliable equipment from the oil and gas industry,” said President and CEO of the Alfa Laval Group, Lars Renström.
