Aker receives two contracts

Aker Solutions received two contracts from Petrobas for the supply of mooring and loading systems in Brazil. Combined, the contracts are valued at NOK 210 million. The first contract is an offshore mooring agreement that consists of movable Pusnes chain jack mooring systems and hull mounted Pusnes fairleads for the spread moored FPSOs P58 and P62. The units will generate oil at the Norte do Parque das Baleias and Roncador fields and the FPSOs will be moored in water depths ranging from 1400m to 1600m. The mooring system will be delivered to P58 and P62 in 2011. The second contract is an offloading agreement for an FPSO to operate in the Tiro and Sidon fields in Brazil. The spread moored FPSO will use the Pusnes offloading system at aft and bow. The two offloading systems include tanker mooring and crude oil transfer components. Deliver of the offshore loading systems is scheduled for 2011.
