Air Energi Group has opened a new office in Denver, Colorado, to complement its current US presence and boost its activities in North America’s booming shale oil and gas sector.
Led by seasoned recruitment professional, Doug Thorner, the office is Air Energi’s seventh location in North America and is to support the Rocky Mountain Region and the West including Colorado, North Dakota, Wyoming and California.
“Denver has grown to become the oil and gas industry’s shale hub for the Western US,” states Thorner. “Our new office will be instrumental in fully engaging with the oil-rich shale plays of the region. From this site, we will be offering our full suite of services covering talent acquisition, global mobility and integrated project solutions to Colorado’s thriving energy sector. I’m thrilled to be commanding such a dynamic unit backed by a global infrastructure recognized for its expertise.”
Air Energi has considerable experience in supporting local shale activity via its Midland office, and looks to expanding its expertise with the addition of this new location. Two of the largest and most promising shale plays, the Bakken and Niobrara, are being managed directly out of Denver.
