Alloy 20: strong sulfuric acid corrosion resistance

Alloy 20, from High Performance Alloys, is a highly alloyed iron-base nickel-chromium-molybdenum stainless steel developed primarily for use in sulfuric acid related processes. Although normally considered a stainless steel, it has been classified as a nickel base.

Some typical corrosion resistant applications for Alloy 20 include chemical, pharmaceutical, food, plastics, synthetic fibers, pickling and FGD systems, among many others.
