Centaurus Metals confirms nickel sulfide in Brazil

Centaurus Metals, a minerals exploration company, received a batch of high-quality tests from its diamond drilling program at the Jaguar Nickel Sulphide Project in Brazil. Drilling has confirmed the extent of the high-grade nickel sulfide mineralization drilled by Canadian mining company, Vale, in its 55,000 m of historical drilling at both the Jaguar South and Onca-Preta Deposits. Highlights from the Jaguar South Deposit include: 11.9 m at 1.43% nickel, 0.05% copper and 0.02% cobalt from 148.0 m.

The results from the Onca-Preta deposit have returned new high-grade nickel mineralization intersections beyond the historical resource limits. A further 45 m of strike has been confirmed which now brings its total to around 300 m. Highlights from this deposit include: 5.4 m at 1.45% nickel, 0.13% copper and 0.07% cobalt from 175.0 m, 7.7 m at 1.16% nickel, 0.12% copper and 0.11% cobalt from 192.8 m.
