Sciaky and KTM Consultants to accelerate EBAM

An agreement has been signed by Chicago-based Sciaky Inc., a provider of metal 3D printing solutions, and KTM Consultants, headquartered in Sydney, Australia. This agreement will expand SciakyÂ’s Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing (EBAM) technology across Australia, New Zealand, and the Middle East.

A subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries, Inc. (PSI), Sciaky has offered welding services since 2009, and developed its EBAM process and began commercialization of industrial EBAM 3D printers in 2014. Its systems have been used by aerospace companies such as FAMAero and Airbus.
After joining the Alliance for the Development of Additive Processing Technologies (ADAPT), Sciaky will work with KTM Consultants to increase sales efforts globally.
