Big changes for Accu-Tube

Washington Equity Partners has recently acquired Accu-Tube Corporation, and has appointed Kevin McGrath as the new CEO, which was effective immediately. Bill Ellerkamp and Diane Loudon have also joined Accu-Tube’s Board of Directors.

Accu-Tube is a leading manufacturer of highly engineered, small-diameter stainless steel tubing, ranging from .009”OD (.23 mm) to .375”OD (9.35 mm). Based in Englewood, CO, the company largely sells to the medical, aerospace and industrial end markets.

“Accu-Tube is a clear market leader with unique engineering capabilities and differentiated products, and the customer demand for its tubing far exceeds the company’s current revenue base,” said Jesse Liu, a partner at Washington Equity. “We plan to make significant investments to expand the company’s manufacturing capacity, and are excited to be partnering with new CEO Kevin McGrath and the current Accu-Tube team to grow business.”

Before stepping into the CEO position at Accu-Tube, McGrath was VP of Advanced Surgical at Tecomet Inc., and prior to that, worked in executive management roles at Mountainside Medical, Accellent, MedSource Technologies, and National Wire and Stamping.
