Sandvik listed in Dow Jones sustainability index

Sandvik, a developer and manufacturer of products in advanced stainless steels and special alloys, with locations throughout the Americas, has been listed in the top 10 percent of the most sustainable companies in its sector by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI).

The 2017 DJSI has awarded Sandvik a percentile score of 97, which means that it performs better on the indicators overall than 97 percent of assessed companies in the same sector.

Sandvik performed best of the assessed companies in their industry (Capital Goods). They were assessed on Customer Relationship Management, Environmental Reporting, Corporate Citizenship, Philanthropy and Human Capital Development and Labor Practice Indicators.
