Phoenix Analysis and Design Technologies Inc. (PADT) is partnering with Stratasys Ltd. to unveil an additive manufacturing lab using 3D printers in Colorado. The Lockheed Martin Additive Manufacturing Laboratory is expected to open in the fall of 2017 at the Metropolitan State University of Denver.
It will feature additive technology solutions from Stratasys 3D printers, and is funded through a grant from Lockheed Martin Space Systems Co., the Maryland-based global security and aerospace company.
The lab is the only one of its kind located at a higher education institution in the Rocky Mountain region, according a PADT statement.
