Connecticut-based Walter Surface Technologies, a global industry leader in surface treatment technologies, has announced the launch of their new Surfox 205 and Surfox Mini TIG and spot weld cleaning system. This new generation of Surfox 205 uses an electrochemical process to clean and passivate TIG and spot welds on stainless steel, aluminum and titanium.
The machine has been redesigned to be powerful, rugged and replace time-consuming manual operations such as mechanical abrasion or extremely hazardous solutions like pickling paste.
Like the Surfox 205, the redesigned Mini Surfox has been engineered to allow operators to clean TIG or spot welds on stainless steel and aluminum. The Surfox systems are designed for use in any industry where stainless and aluminium are found, including food and beverage, pharmaceutical, architectural and transportation.
