Bayou Steel Group, a North American company focused on the production of long carbon steel products, has made new appointments in their drive towards commercial excellence.
Nelson Cuesta joined Bayou Steel Group as Regional Sales Manager. Nelson’s sales background includes recent experience in stainless steel light gauge precision strip, sheet, coil, plate and long products bar. Jim Howe, a 40-year industry veteran, has been appointed as Vice President of Strategic Sales and Business Development.
Dan Lay, who began his career in the steel industry with Gerdau in 2005, has been named Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Alex Hammond, who joined Bayou Steel Group as a Senior Customer Service Representative in October 2016, has been appointed the position of Midwest and Northeast Regional Sales Manager.
