Greenleaf Launches the XSYTIN-1

Greenleaf Corporation recently launched their ceramic insert grade XSYTIN-1 with a press event at their global headquarters in Saegertown, PA. XSYTIN-1 is a phase-toughened ceramic insert grade, designed to mill, turn and groove the most difficult materials on the market at extreme feed rates with the high surface footage of ceramic inserts.

The XSYTIN-1 is designed for use in interrupted cuts, removal of scale, roughing, semi-finish and finish cuts in heat-resistant superalloy materials, stainless steels, steel alloys, cast irons, nodular irons and ductile irons.

Greenleaf Corporation President, Jim Greenleaf, offered closing remarks about the win-rate and performance of XSYTIN-1 in the marketplace as well as the future opportunities for GreenleafÂ’s line of Technical Ceramic products.
