COE Press Equipment, located in Michigan, offers the 350 series power straighteners with new design features that enable processing of a wider range of materials including stainless steel, cold-rolled steel, hot-rolled steel, galvanized, pre-painted, aluminum, and advanced high strength steel (AHSS).
The straighteners, which can handle coil widths from 1.0 to 54 inch, offer improvements of more than 30 percent in strength and rigidity because of increased roll journal diameter and radius, along with increased bearing load capacity. Other updates include enhanced outboard support, new idler shafts, and improved backup design. The straighteners also increase work roll penetration, helping achieve the material flatness required to feed AHSS properly.
