Stainless steel production on the rise

The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) has published figures for the first three months of 2016, showing that stainless steel melt shop production increased by 0.4%, to 10.3 million metric tons in the regions including the Americas; Western Europe/Africa; Central/Easter Europe and Asia (without China). In the America, the production of stainless steel increased by 6.7% compared to the same time period in 2015. Year-on-year however, stainless steel melt shop production has decreased in the Americas by 16.4%.
