Pennsylvania-based Electro Chemical recently announced its partnership with Guyle McCuaig to form a new business, Superior Dual Laminates, Inc. (SDL). This partnership expands Electro Chemicals breadth of lining solutions for the chemical processing industry.
Electro Chemical, a company specializing in corrosion protection solutions, supplies fluoropolymer-lined steel equipment using sheet lining, baked coatings and roto-molding technologies. McCuaig brings fluoropolymer lined fiberglass technology for both tanks and piping to the new SDL venture.
The partnership takes advantage of significant advancements in technology from Electro Chemical, such as helium leak testing of fluoropolymer linings, permeation testing and application of the latest high temperature bonding adhesives. Combining these advances with McCuaigs dual laminate fiberglass technology brings together two powerful tools for combating corrosion in storage tanks, reactors, columns and piping.
