DMW delivers corrosion resistant cranes to US Navy

DMW Marine Group, LLC (DMW) has delivered two 40 ton meter knuckleboom cranes to the US Navy, in response to the Navy’s decision to replace its rusty equipment with corrosion resistant marine cranes. The model M400 cranes will replace two similarly sized cranes that were provided by another vendor.

DMW’s equipment features stainless steel pipes and fittings, a sand blasted and flame metalized structure and Ni-Cr 500 piston rods which enables their cranes to withstand marine environments.
DMW knuckleboom cranes have also been commissioned for a research vessel in Canada.
