HANTEMP extends stainless steel flange line

Illinois-based HANTEMP Controls, a manufacturer of stainless steel controls for industrial refrigeration and other low-temperature applications, has extended its line of stainless steel flanges designed to simplify installation and maintenance processes. The EZWLD line of stainless steel flanges now includes threaded flanges that can be easily connected to other threaded refrigeration components. The FPT (female pipe thread) flanges are created using single-point threading, ensuring that the connection is clean and reliable every time.

Threaded flanges are advantageous by minimizing the need for welding installations and the availability of seasoned and certified welders. In addition, the stainless steel construction provides superior resistance which eliminates the need for costly surface painting that generally occurs with forged steel flanges. The stainless steel FPT flanges are available in both the 2-bolt oval configuration (¾”, 1”, 1¼” pipe sizes) and the 4-bolt square configuration (1½”, 2”pipe sizes).
