ArcelorMittal receives AFP philanthropy award

ArcelorMittal, a leading steel manufacturer, including stainless steel alloys, received the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) – Indiana Chapter’s (AFP-IC) 2015 Philanthropy Award for Outstanding Corporation, at the association’s annual ceremony held in Indianapolis on November 18.

Winners of the AFP Philanthropy Awards are selected by a judging committee comprised of community leaders across all industry segments who have a passion for philanthropy. ArcelorMittal was nominated for this award by Northwest Indiana non-profit partner, Dunes Learning Center (DLC), citing its extensive work with the Mighty Acorns environmental education and stewardship program involving DLC, Shirley Heinze Land Trust and The Field Museum.
